Wound Polypropylene filter

NSF 42 Certified for material integrity using FDA approved materials
Wound technology offers great chemical compatibility and temperature resistance
Prevents the development of microorganisms within a filtration system
Precisely wound in a pattern that provides a large surface area
Industry standard sizes with broad micron choices.

Wound Polypropylene filter cartridges are commonly used due to the combination of resistance to high temperatures and ability to filter many industrial fluids with varying particle sizes. A string of polypropylene fibre is wound in a precise arrangement to increase surface area around a strong polypropylene core.

Our cartridges are characterised by excellent sediment absorption of sand, silt, rust and suspended solids. This paired with the above attributes produce a filter cartridge with varying applications including municipal water, well water, reverse osmosis and heavier filtration within industry.

Standard Carbon Block Filter

Constructed with safe, food grade materials in Industry standard sizes
Double the capacity of our economic carbon block
Maintains a good standard of filtration with low pressure drops
Gaskets ensure a secure seal

This Carbon cartridge is constructed with a mix of coconut shell carbon and activated bituminous carbon to provide a great level of efficient filtration for applications in drinking water, reverse osmosis and aquatics.Carbon blocks are a wide used choice for the reduction and removal of chlorine, VOCs, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, copper, caesium and strontium whilst reducing water hardness. They also improve the taste and odour of drinking water. Supplied water penetrates the block from its outer surface to the core. Removed compounds are held on its surface while purified water passes through to the inside of the block.

General Specification:
  • Operating Temperature °C (°F) – 2 – 80 (35 – 175)
  • Operating Pressure psi (bar) – < 90 (< 6)
  • Average Life Span – 6 – 8 Months
  • Average Efficiency – 90%
  • Micron Size µ – 5
  • Media – Coconut Shell and Activated Carbon Mix
  • End Cap Material – Polypropylene (PP)
  • Gasket Material – Silicone
  • Netting Material – Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
  • 20″ x 2.5″ – 20,800 (78,700)
Standard GAC Filter:

FDA and NSF Approved Activated Coconut Shell Carbon Constructed with safe, food grade materials in Industry standard sizes Maintains a great standard of filtration with low pressure drops
Integrated Polypropylene post filter minimises particle migration.

This Carbon cartridge is constructed with FDA and NSF approved activated coconut shell carbon to provide a great level of efficient filtration for applications in drinking water, reverse osmosis and aquatics. It also has around double capacity when compared to our economic GAC cartridge. Carbon cartridges are a wide used choice for the reduction and removal of chlorine, VOCs, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, copper, caesium and strontium whilst reducing water hardness. They also improve the taste and odour of drinking water.

Supplied water travels upwards within the cartridge to ensure long contact time with the treatment media, allowing for maximum absorption. To make sure no particles escape with the water, this cartridge is supplied with an internal PP post filter.

General Specification:
  • Operating Temperature °C (°F) – 2 – 55 (35 – 130)
  • Operating Pressure psi (bar) – < 90 (< 6)
  • Average Service Life – 6 – 8 Months
  • Average Efficiency – 90 -95%
  • Media – Coconut Shell GAC
  • End Cap Material – Polypropylene (PP)
  • Gasket Material – Silicone
  • Netting Material – High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
  • Post Filtration – Polypropylene (PP)
  • 20″ x 2.5″ – 2,880 (440)
