Our range of Imperial Plain/Threaded Union - Male Thread One pressure pipe fittings are available in sizes from 1/4” n.b. x 1/2” n.b. to 4” n.b. x 4” n.b.
Unions are a pipe fitting used to connect two pieces of pipe of the same diameter with a mechanism which allows the pipes to be separated if necessary. Our male thread one end unions have a male thread at one side which allows for connection to a female threaded fitting.
In order to do this correctly, please make sure you read the assembly and joining procedure guidelines in our technical information, ensuring you use our PVC solvent cement and cleaner on the plain side of the fitting in order to bond the pipe and fitting together. We recommend the use of thread sealing tape to secure the connection of the threaded end of the fitting; these can be found on our Imperial accessories section.
